As we do not have a public facility, SnuggleBug is always recruiting volunteers to act as foster "parents." They take on a needy dog give it the food, attention, and love it deserves in a nurturing, home environment. Foster parents may also attend scheduled community adoption events, where they can provide valuable information and feedback on the animal to prospective adopting families.
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent or have questions regarding the program, please feel free to contact us at (615) 315-8903 or send an email.
Anyone can foster an animal if they accepted after an interview process. We require that you know how to properly care for the animal(s) placed in your charge.
SnuggleBug expects all animals held in foster homes will be welcomed as a member of the family. Foster care givers must be able to provide a clean safe environment in which to care for the animal to prevent injury and spread of disease. Food, flea control, and any medication not provided by SnuggleBug are the financial responsibility of the foster parent. We do, however, distribute any donated food and medical items among our foster families.
